Deliciously Satisfying Scallops, Shrimps and Sausages Oh My!
I don’t know any meat lover that doesn’t like bacon. In fact, anything wrapped in bacon is just ooooooo soooooo delicious.
Here are three takes on just that, scallops, shrimps and sausages all wrapped in bacon. Separately. Not together. ; D
All you need are as follows:
12 mini wooden skewers
¾ cup maple syrup
¼ cup soy sauce
3 TB brown sugar
12 slices of bacon
6 large scallops
1 pack of mini sausages. I used this Chinese sausage but you can use any you prefer:
In a large bowl, combine maple syrup and soy sauce:
Add scallops and shrimps and marinate for 15 minutes:
In the meantime, heat oven to 375F, place bacon on the bacon sheet and bake for 8 minutes.
The bacon should still be soft and easily manipulated:
Place a scallop on a slice of bacon and cut bacon at the point where it is long enough to wrap around the scallop in a single layer:
secure bacon with skewer and place on the baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar:
Do the same for the shrimps:
And then the sausages:
Once finish skewering, place them in the oven and bake until the scallops, shrimps and sausages are cooked and the bacon is crispy, around 10 – 15 minutes, turning once.
Mmmmmmmm all done:
