The foyer was cozy yet grand:
.. and offered complimentary coat check.
As we entered the dining area, the Sovereign Ballroom welcomed us with beautiful, heavenly harp melody:
I couldn’t help but go check out the desserts first and was WOW-ed by the huge selection:
Chocolate raspberry cake, passion fruit cake, creme brûlée,
Tiramisu, Fruit tart, egg pudding and more:
Pecan, raisin tarts, chocolate mousse:
and this is only a selection of what they were serving!
Next, I went to check out the main dishes, here’s a little taste:
Croissant French Toast
Breakfast Sausages & Bacon:
….. and then, it gets more interesting!
The King’s Classic Beef Wellington with Foie Gras and Red Wine Reduction was mouth watering, cooked to perfect medium!
Pepperberry Spiced Salmon was tasty and tender, Cheese and Spinach Cannelloni with Rustic Tomato Sauce and Arugula was creatively displayed:
Medley Spiced Jerk Chicken with Grilled Pineapple, Jicama and Pomegranate Salsa – the Salsa was flavourful but I still prefer the Jerk Chicken I usually make at home, will post later so stay tuned! Apple and Sage Braised Pork with Sweet And Sour Cabbage Duo was surprisingly delicious!
After taking a look at all the mains, I couldn’t resist any longer and had to help myself to a platter. I didn’t even get a chance to take photos of the cold starters and continental breakfast areas!
Mmmmmmm, everything was delish! And I left there satisfyingly stuffed ; )
Regular price would have costed $53 per person, with the Groupon deal of $32.50, it was well worth tantalizing your taste buds! The price also included tea, coffee and all sorts of juices including freshly squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice and smoothie. Here’s their Menu. Sunday brunches run from 11am – 1pm.
Go try it!
‘Till next time,
