Simply Delicious Oven Roasted Chicken Legs and Wings
It is almost as easy to prepare this dish as it is making any processed foods. This recipe is SIMPLE. DELICIOUS. It is all made from scratch so it is NUTRITIOUS. There are no chemicals or additives or preservatives.
All you need are as follows:
2 lbs of dark meat – chicken wings and legs/thighs ( I prefer to get the chicken from Reesor’s Organics and Fine Cheese Shop at York’s Farmer’s Market. They have great service and if you prefer, they will cut the whole chicken and bag them whichever way you like i.e. separate the pieces into white meat, dark meat and bones.
1tsp coarse salt
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp black pepper
That is it. Literally.
Heat oven to 400F. Meanwhile, sprinkle the seasoning onto chicken:
Rub the seasoning into the meat, make sure they’re evenly distributed, don’t miss a thing!
Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until cooked. You can also put the oven to BROIL on low heat towards the end for a few minutes to brown the skin, it’ll look nicer ; )
That is it. And YES, it IS surprisingly DELICIOUS!! So no more excuses about not having enough time to cook a decent, wholesome meal and reach for that processed frozen box of food. Give this a try, it won’t disappoint! ; )
